Seoil Farm Korean Restaurant, Anseong / 서일농원 솔리 레스토랑

The Korean Restaurant at Seoil Farm is a Korean dining space nestled in the beautiful natural surroundings of Seoil Farm in Anseong. This project was designed to create a calm and refined atmosphere through the use of honest materials and a restrained composition.

​

The main dining hall retains the existing steel truss structure, emphasizing the high gabled ceiling, which is finished with oak-toned panels to introduce a sense of warmth and balance. The interplay between vertical openness and grounded materials creates a stable and centered spatial experience.

​

The floor is finished with large-format grey tiles, while the walls are painted in a soft off-white, allowing natural light and artificial illumination to diffuse gently throughout the space, establishing a quiet and composed mood. In particular, the natural light streaming through the large windows changes with the time of day, enriching the overall dining experience.

​

Black cement boards are used at intervals throughout the space, adding visual depth and a sense of grounded weight within the otherwise neutral palette.

​

Furniture is unified with wooden tops and black metal frames, maintaining a clean, understated aesthetic that harmonizes with the space’s materiality.

​

Restaurant proposes a thoughtful and sincere dining experience, where nature, structure, and material come together quietly—allowing food and people to take center stage.

서일농원 솔리 식당은 안성 서일농원의 아름다운 환경 속에 자리한 한식 레스토랑으로, 재료 본연의 질감과 절제된 구성으로 편안하고 정제된 식사 공간을 구현한 프로젝트입니다.

 

메인 공간은 기존 금속 트러스 구조를 그대로 노출하여 박공 형태의 높은 천장을 살렸고, 여기에 오크 톤의 천장 마감재를 적용해 따뜻한 균형감을 부여했습니다. 높은 천장이 주는 개방감과 더불어 재료가 주는 안정감이 조화를 이루며 공간의 중심을 잡아줍니다.

바닥은 그레이 톤의 대형 타일, 벽은 미색의 도장으로 마감되어 자연광과 조명을 부드럽게 받아들이며, 전체적으로 차분하고 조용한 분위기를 형성합니다. 특히, 식당 창으로 들어오는 자연광은 시간에 따라 다르게 공간을 물들이며, 식사의 경험을 더욱 풍요롭게 만듭니다.

공간 곳곳에 블랙 시멘트보드를 사용하여 시각적인 포인트를 주고, 공간의 깊이와 무게감을 강조합니다. 이는 밝고 중립적인 톤 사이에서 안정적인 긴장감을 더해줍니다.

​

가구는 원목 상판과 블랙 프레임으로 구성된 간결한 형태의 테이블과 의자로 통일되어, 마감재와 조화를 이루며 전체 분위기를 해치지 않고 자연스럽게 녹아듭니다.

​

솔리 식당은 자연과 구조, 재료가 조용하게 어우러지며, 음식과 사람에 집중할 수 있는 섬세하고 진정성 있는 식사 공간이 되길 원하였습니다.
