L Residence was designed not as a typical home, but as a second residence in response to the client’s special request—a space that feels more like a lounge, where one can quietly retreat from the routines of daily life.

​

The interior is composed with a low level of ambient light and a muted, dark-toned palette, softened by warm oak wood finishes that bring a gentle, inviting atmosphere. The balance of shadow and warmth encourages a slow awakening of the senses, creating a dense and immersive sense of rest.

​

Walls are finished with a specialty coating, offering a surface with subtle depth and texture. Together with subdued lighting, the space exudes a sense of calm sophistication and quiet tension.

​

A key feature is the corridor that connects the entrance to the living and bedroom areas. Finished entirely in oak—floor, walls, and ceiling—this space acts as a transitional zone between exterior and interior. More than just a passage, it gently embraces movement, adding a layer of spatial experience to the act of walking through.

L Residence offers a deeply personal and contemplative living experience, shaped by restrained materials, dim lighting, and a clear yet gentle spatial composition.

L 레지던스는 일반적인 주거가 아닌, 클라이언트의 특별한 요청에 따라 계획된 세컨드 하우스입니다. 일상에서 벗어나 조용히 머무를 수 있는, 라운지 같은 감성의 공간을 지향합니다.

​

전체 공간은 낮은 조도와 어두운 분위기 속에 구성되었으며, 오크 무늬목 마감을 통해 따뜻하고 부드러운 감각을 더했습니다. 어둠과 온기가 동시에 감도는 이 조화는 사용자의 감각을 천천히 열어가며, 공간에 깊이 있는 휴식의 밀도를 형성합니다.

벽면은 특수 도장 마감으로 처리되어 일반 마감재보다 더 깊이 있는 표면감을 전달하며, 은은한 조명과 함께 고요하고 세련된 분위기를 완성합니다.

​

특히, 현관에서 거실과 방으로 이어지는 복도는 바닥, 벽, 천장 모두를 오크로 마감해 외부와 내부를 잇는 전이 공간으로 작동합니다. 단순한 동선 이상의 감각을 만들어내며, 이동하는 순간조차도 하나의 경험이 되도록 설계되었습니다.

L 레지던스는 절제된 재료, 낮은 톤의 조명, 명확한 구성 속에서 조용한 몰입과 사적인 여유를 위한 깊이 있는 거주 경험을 제안합니다.
